4th Annual Sunshine/Scott King Tournament February 6-7
St. Petersburg, FLA: October 14, 2026: Scott King is hosting his 4th Annual Sunshine Tournament over the non-NFL weekend of February 6-7th 2027.
The event traditionally draws close to three dozen participants from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Miami and the Tampa Bay area. Many of the players are ex-pros mixed in with several top amateurs.
There will be a $20 donation fee per player with funds to support the St. Pete Cancha – America’s first and only public jai-alai court.
Last years event was played in miserably cold weather (the worst in 16 years), but the odds of that happening is slim. The average temperature in St. Pete that time of year is 72 degrees under sunny conditions.
