Jam Arena Opens Friday with Hard Rock App Special
Miami, FLA: September 17, 2026: World Jai-alai has started its season with both pari-mutual wagering and Battle Court sports betting this week, but will have its “Opening Night” at the JAM arena Friday night, September 18th. That means “Open to the public”, and the Hard Rock app is doing an amazing promotion.
This promotion is unlike any other I’ve seen in 53 years of watching jai-alai. Up to 80% of your bet will be returned if you lose! Yep. Make a $50 wager, and if you lose, you will get back $40 of that money. The numbers are lower on smaller bets, but still a great deal.
You must be at the JAM arena in Miami – the original 100-year-old cancha and fronton to make these bets.
A booth will be set up. Smaller bets, like $10 or $20, will get a 50% return if you lose. They might be focusing on getting the slot machine players to check out jai-alai and marketing their regulars with promotions. I was at Calder Jai-alai when they opened to a packed house of over 600 spectators, all likely casino players.
